Having started in the commercial construction industry in 1996 as a carpenter’s helper, Matt Arnett (owner) has experienced every facet of the construction process firsthand. His experience as he worked his way up the management ladder gives him unique insight into the intricacies of the process.
After spending years building strong relationships with his customers and subcontractors, starting his own General Contracting business was a foregone conclusion. The carefully selected team at Arnett Built is comprised of committed superintendents and carpenters who manage projects as well as self-perform various project tasks.
Having a qualified General Contractor help during the planning stages can significantly reduce cost and time. We are accustomed to providing budgets through the planning stages in order to help simplify the decision making process so once its time to build, there are no surprises!
During the estimating phase we reach out to multiple subcontractors in each trade to help achieve the best price possible to achieve professional results. At Arnett Built we strive to and have succeeded in having very good relationships with subcontractors. A good General Contractor/Subcontractor relationship is crucial in order to receive the time and attention needed to formulate a thorough estimate.
Deadlines are not negotiable. Projects move quickly and getting information distributed to the project team in a timely manner is crucial. We use project scheduling software that helps identify a clear timeline and important milestones for the construction process. We set expectations at the beginning and make sure every team member has what is needed to hit the desired deadline.
